Navigating the sea of ADHD information can be daunting.  Here are some tried-and-true ADHD resources for you to check out.

Websites:

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD): The go-to place for support and resources for those affected by ADHD.

Rena-Fi: RenaFi provides an academic, research-based practical, financial education platform. Their members learn better money strategies based on behavioral finance science.

Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA): ADDA supports adults with ADHD, providing a welcoming and safe environment, delivering reliable information, encouraging innovative approaches and modeling ADHD best practices.

ADHD Coaches Organization (ACO):  The ADHD Coaches Organization is the worldwide professional membership organization for ADHD coaches, and we are committed to serving as a resource for ADHD coaches, for our members, and for the public.  If you are looking for a coach, this is a great place to start.

ADHD Essentials: This website offers resources and support geared toward families.

ADHD reWired: This website offers resources and support geared toward adults.

How to ADHD: Videos with tips, tricks, and insights into the ADHD brain.

Magazines:

ADDitude: From symptom tests to treatments, and blogs to support forums, this magazine offers tremendous support. You can choose to receive it online or in hard copy.

Attention:  CHADD’s subscription-based bimonthly magazine is rich in practical information, clinical insights, and evidence-based strategies for managing ADHD.

Sari Solden, MS: The foremost expert on women with ADHD.

Dr. Ari Tuckman: Practical information from an ADHD psychologist dedicated to understanding the ADHD brain.

Dr. Thomas E. Brown: Provides a new understanding of ADHD.

Sleep With Me: “Sleep With Me” is a groundbreaking podcast created to help you fall asleep. So get in bed, press play and drift off into dreamland.

ADHD Coach Ryan: I am personally familiar with Coach Ryan and respect his information and humorous take on living with ADHD.

YouTube:

How to ADHD: Videos that help you understand exactly what ADHD is and how to explain it to others.         

Rick Wants to Know:  Comedy actor and writer, Rick Green, shares insights on life with ADHD.

Tools:         

Time Timer: My go-to tool for helping individuals “see” the passage of time, increasing focus and self-regulation.

FocusMate:  Virtual body-doubling and co-working increase productivity and accountability.

Planner Pad:  Although not marketed as a planner for the ADHD brain, many of my clients have found this funnel format useful to manage their busy lives.
